Now that the weekend is so over, I am back to my daily routine of work. I am feeling much better--not yet the best, but I am getting there. The baby shower turned out great even though I was a bit sick to enjoy it all. The mother to be was so happy and surprised at the amount of guest that turned up. I also enjoyed my spicy gizzard. I finally have the recipe, so hopeful I will make it and it will turn out great. ;)
Hope the week is going great for you guys? Happy Wednesday!!--Friday is close by :D

Yay, It's Friday
Friday, February 20, 2009
Happy Friday lovelies, I have been in a boring state throughout the week. My week has been filled with work + flu. Am so happy that am free from this moment till Monday. I am in need of a rest + good food. This weekend, I have a friend's baby shower. This means that I will be taking a trip to "Toys R Us"--I will probably end up picking something for myself--maybe a board game. I am also looking forward to the host's spicy gizzard--that gizzard is the ssshh!
Anyways, I hope everyone had a better week than I did; but if not, I wish you all a wonderful, fun weekend. Now am off to my bed--catch you later!
blowing kisses...

Lamborghini Woman Shoes. Delux Series.
Tuesday, February 17, 2009
Are Lamborghini woman shoes made for walking? Lamborghini Seriously Hot Heels.
Everybody knows how fleet-footed a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is on the road - and now it is on the footpath as well, literally. There are the first track-biased high heels in the world.
The carbon fibre heeled woman shoes are the work of a brilliant designer and member of the CGSociety called Tim Cooper, who modelled them on a pair of his wife's high heels using a large handful of Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera images. The CGS - if you want to know - is a group of artists who specialise in 3D modelling and computer generated imagery.
Of course, no one with taste and propriety would ever want to wear these shoes - or even letting them anywhere near their house - but they are still a very clever piece of rendering. The level of detail is quite amazing - so much so, in fact, that there's a chance someone may take matters a step further and actually make them. We hope not...

What can I say, I am in love with Alexander Wang. He swept me off my feet again. Love the whole rocker, glam, chic thing.

My Story; Over The Weekend
Sunday, February 8, 2009
Yeah, I had another amazing weekend. I danced like I have never danced in ages; actually, I haven't gone out to dance except for dancing in front of my mirror. Well, yesterday was my friend's birthday party. The theme was "black and white"; which for some reason, I just could NOT decide what to wear. I knew for a fact that I didn't want to wear white. I wanted to wear all black; but the outfit I created in my mind cannot be found in my closet. lol!
Have you guys ever had one of those days that you want to wear a certain outfit that you have thought about or created in your mind, but you just don't even have the outfit in your closet? LOL! Yeah, that was my situation.
Back to my story, I finally decided to wear a skirt and a top. I could not find any of my black tank tops for some reason, so I decided to wear a dress inform of a top. The suppose top in this picture below is actually a dress and I wore a skirt over it. I just love the studded and racer back of the dress. For some reason, I CANNOT get enough of anything that is studded, racer back, buckles, or zips.
Anyways, that was how many weekend went. Yeah, I meant a fellow blogger "Original Mbaeke". It was so nice to meet you dear! For some reason I felt like I was lost of words when I met her--gosh!, I can be too shy meeting new people. :) Hope I didn't stammer hehehe!
Birthday girl & I (she looked amazing!!)
What did you guys do over the weekend?

Dream with me: I Smell Spring
Thursday, February 5, 2009
Gosh!! how I want to close and open my eyes and let it be spring. I am getting tired of the cold, especially when your too tiny like me, you could feel every bit of the cold. Don't get me wrong, I love the layering that comes with it; but I am so ready for my dresses. Lately I have been in the mood of maxi dresses. On occassion, I will just walk into my closet and just admire my maxi dresses and wonder how soon will I get to wear them. Now am jealous of those in warm states and countries. This is the part where I miss Nigeria--could we trade places? Anyone???
Here are some maxi dresses--dream with me :)

Pop Diva Madonna Keeps Shocking Us!
Wednesday, February 4, 2009
Summer Spring 2009 fashion collections of Rodarte, Givenchy, Thakoon, Narciso Rodriguez and Herve Leger proved that "surgical corset" turns into fashion trend. As we know Madonna is a big lover of fashion trends, but this time it seems like Madonna laid it thick a little.
In promotional photo session of her album Hard Candy Madonna was dressed in something that didn't look like clothes. I would say it was stylish "surgical corset".
Maybe Pop Star Madonna just forgot that what looks sexy at the age of 35 is not very attractive at the age of 50...

Day & Night
Monday, February 2, 2009
Earlier in the DAY
Finally I got to see the movie "Bride Wars" after my friend "Ella P" posted me the last time. LoL! All through the movie we both were referring the main characters certain behaviors to ourselves. There was this part in the movie where both ladies Kate Hudson and Anna Hathaway went out to jog, but instead of jogging, Kate Hudson was just walking--typical me! My friend referred that character scene to me because am this lazy person when it comes to going to gym/exercising. Hopefully the year will be better when it comes to exercising for me. ;-)
Really, the movie is quiet entertaining--you just got to love Anne Hathaway.
After the movie at NIGHT
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

On a Final Note
Sunday, February 1, 2009
We started blogging back in 2004, when we began college. We wanted a simple girly website where we can share our thoughts on fashion with other fashion lovers. We finally settled on blogspot, because we were both technically challenged and it was easy. It was really exciting at first. We religiously stalked our blog and our heart would skip a beat whenever we get a comment. It gave us a warm and fuzzy feeling each time.
We just graduated last summer and since then, we’ve been struggling to carry our blog into the ‘real world’ with us. When you’re a student, you’re surrounded by inspirations and you have all the time in the world to take it in and read up on the latest styles and celebrity trends. In the real world, you get so caught up with life that you barely have time to stop and admire your surroundings and be inspired and excited by it. Now don’t get us wrong, we still love to drool over gorgeous dresses and new bags and debate over the merits of the latest trends- just not as often anymore. Blogging started to become a chore instead of something we loved doing. That was when we knew that it was time to move on, even though it took us a few months of thinking and debating with ourselves and each other to realize it, and another few months overcoming self denial to act on it. It’s not easy to give up something we’ve been doing for the last four years, knowing that once we stop, there is no going back.
A little over 4 years ago, we had no idea what blogs were, and we certainly didn’t know fashion blogs will become such a big phenomenon. We didn’t really know where we were heading when we started I am Fashion, but it became something we loved. We considered taking I am Fashion further, developing it into something bigger as so many other fashion blogs have done. But alas, as hard as we racked our brains, we couldn’t come up with a vision of where it can go. And so, we've decided that it was time to make a graceful exit and let I am Fashion go.
Find us at our NEW BLOGs:
Tea with BG -http://teawithbg.com/
BG’s new personal blog, where she will continue to explore fashion, with a sprinkle of finance, travel, dining and other random musings on life.
HG’s new fashion blog, where she will blog about fashion, beauty and all girly things. And yes, she will continue to self-debate endlessly on whether to buy something as affordable as a pair of Zara shoes, or something as wallet-breaking as a Balenciaga bag.
