Wild Thing

I feel like am slacking on my post. I have quite a busy busy schedule--overwhelmed with school, work, wedding plans! I can't wait for school to be over in 2wks seriously!
On the other hand, My weekend was filled with school work. I have papers due on wednesday--ugh! TIRED :(
I need a vacation somebody--dreaming of beach, bikins, cold drinks, long sleeps...zzzzzzzzzz...

Final decision:

I have an exam tonight--in the process of deciding what to wear and to get my mind of my exam, I decided to play dress up. I have an obsession with cropped tops. Now, I begging the weather to hurry up and get warm--enough of the snow forecast please!

Snowed In

It has been snowing here since Saturday! It sure feels like christmas because everywhere is covered in snow, work, and classes are cancelled--what a mandatory vacation! I have been home for the most part.

The effects of this snow: I went to the grocery store yesterday; you will think the world is coming to an end because almost everything at the store was sold out. There was NO tomatoes, banana, bell pepper, including my cinnamon toast cereal, hmmm!--in fact, I could only buy one thing out of my list.

Anyway, am home today enjoying my movies and hot coco, and doing some reading! How I wish I could go to fashion week!

Around town...

My weeks have been busy with school and work; while my weekend goes by so quickly. It's been awhile; how is everyone doing? I have missed you guys A LOT!!! Gradually getting back to regular blogging and visiting all other lovely blogs. On another note, I can't believe christmas is almost here. I have started thinking about my list ;)

Labor Weekend!

Currently relaxing after a long day out. I am hoping to catch up on other blogs that I have missed and returning friends phone calls by tomorrow before my week begins. On the otherhand, I just bought this ankara material for a friend's wedding in October, but I have no tailor yet and I am bit confused as to what I want to sew with the material. Hopefully before this week runs down, I will decide whether to sew a dress or playsuit/jumpsuit with the material.
I am off to catch a movie with the fiancé with my strawberry smoothie with whipcream on hand...yummy :D

As promised

Sorry guys, I have been so busy. Anyhoo, how is the weekend going for you guys??? This is the outfit I wore to a wedding party last Sunday. It was a very beautiful & youthful wedding. My only problem about a lot of Nigerian weddings is that people don't sick to rules. If they say, "NO KIDS", why bring your kids along and if they say, "INVITATION ONLY", why show up with all your friends and friend's friends---Gosh!, people respect rules ;)
On the others hand, the wedding was nice; my friend and I snapped away as we waited for the reception to start. I also took some notes for mine. ;)
Ok, I going to go do my nails now because I have another wedding in 5hours. I might stick to tradition clothes this time. Hopefully I don't change my mind. :D

Yay, It's Friday

Happy Friday lovelies, I have been in a boring state throughout the week. My week has been filled with work + flu. Am so happy that am free from this moment till Monday. I am in need of a rest + good food. This weekend, I have a friend's baby shower. This means that I will be taking a trip to "Toys R Us"--I will probably end up picking something for myself--maybe a board game. I am also looking forward to the host's spicy gizzard--that gizzard is the ssshh!
